Popular Singer Gives Musical Gift For Cancer Teens
Singer / Songwriter Taylor Swift has gifted The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) $50,000 to create newly specialized programming and a high-tech music therapy platform to enable teen cancer patients to create and produce music while receiving cancer treatment.
M. Altschuler, MD, chief executive officer of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, adds: "Her gift will help lift the spirits of many CHOP patients during a difficult time...We are thrilled that Taylor Swift has chosen to support The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Cancer Center..."
