American Idol winner Kris Allen has partnered with the Music Empowers Foundation in the creation of a new program in support of music education in public schools. A grant will be given to DonorsChoose.org and charitably matched to "benefit students in providing music supplies to classroom music programs in high poverty areas across the country."
